Lilly Marie Hans Bailey Berlet

Lilly Berlet, age 91, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 1, 2024. following a brief struggle with late-stage cancer. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Lilly was born in Kellersburg, PA on June 7, 1932. She was the first daughter of Flora (King) Hans and Charles Bryan Hans. She had three older brothers, Kenneth, Clarence, and Perce, and a younger sister, Dorothy who preceded her in death. Her surviving brother, Harold Hans, resides in Michigan.

Lilly is survived by her three children, Daniel Bailey (Sue), Joyce Matthews (Jerry), and Sherry Walker (Andy). She has six grandchildren, Michelle (Bailey) Walls (Jonathan), Timothy Bailey (Jennifer), Christyn Walker, Jessica (Matthews) Poss (Jeremy), Nathan Walker (Kerrie), and Jonathan Matthews (Ashley). She also has eight great grandchildren: Andrew Bailey, Ethan Bailey, Lilly Bailey, Lincoln Poss, Lane Walker, Wren Walker, Brooklyn Matthews, Joslyn Matthews.

Lilly's memorial service will be at Zion Baptist Church chapel, 7037 Hwy 212, Covington, at 11 am on June 22nd. Visitation will start at 10:30. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Lilly's name to Eagles Landing Christian Counseling Center, 1944 Brannan Rd Ext, McDonough, GA 30253, 678-28-6981. Donations can be made online or mailed to the above address.

She will be buried next to her parents in Squirrel Hill Cemetery, New Bethlehem, PA at a later date.
