Funeral service for Linda Jean” Ramsey” Badgett, age 78 of Houston, Texas will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Buddy Wiggins officiating. Interment will follow at Seymore cemetery with . Kaleb Burton, Kody Burton, Michael Smallwood, Marlin Cavenaugh, Ronnie Cavenaugh, and Adrian Aguilera serving as pallbearers. Robert Badgett Sr. and Brandon Ramsey will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mrs. Badgett passed away on December 4, 2025 at her residence.
Linda was born on June 26, 1947 at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas to Don Lee Ramsey and Annie Dell Cavenaugh. She married Robert Jerrell Badgett on July 23, 1965 in Houston, Texas. Linda retired from the medical field as a phlebotomist and research assistant. Linda was a woman of the Christian faith and greatly loved the Lord.
She is survived by her husband, Robert and son, Robert Jr; brothers Don Lee Ramsey Jr. and Marlin Wade Cavenaugh; grandchildren Shellie, Miranda, Michael, Chelsea, Kalyn, Kody and Kaleb; great grandchildren and other nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Don Lee Ramsey and Annie Dell Cavenaugh, sisters Sally Renee and Johanna Lynn, daughters Susan Renee and Robin Janell and great granddaughter Lexi Booth.
