Linda Joyce Blanchard

Linda Joyce Blanchard, 77, of Leesburg, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, MeMe, sister, and a woman of unwavering faith. A longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church, she faithfully played the piano and worshiped with a heart fully devoted to the Lord. Her faith was her guiding light, giving her strength and resilience through life’s challenges.

Linda lived a life of courage and grace, always putting her family first. She was a loving mother to her sons, who were her pride and joy.

Her most treasured title was “MeMe.” Linda poured unconditional love, encouragement, and wisdom into her grandchildren. Being MeMe was her greatest joy, and her grandchildren knew they were endlessly cherished.

Linda is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ray Blanchard; her sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Jessica Blanchard, and Brian and Heather Blanchard; her granddaughters, Gracee Blanchard and Kaylen Singleton; her sister, Judy McIntosh; her brother, Scotty Phillips; and her dearest friend, Gail Godwin.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Otis Phillips, Sr.; her mother, Lillian Phillips; and her beloved grandson, Easton Blanchard.

Linda’s legacy is one of faith, resilience, and unwavering love. She will be remembered for her gentle yet strong spirit, her musical gifts, her steadfast devotion to God, and the immeasurable love she gave as MeMe. Her memory will live on in all who were blessed to know her.

The family would like to extend their deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and caregivers who cared for Linda each day. Your compassion, patience, and kindness brought comfort not only to her, but to our entire family. We are forever thankful for the dignity, love, and gentle care you showed her during her final season of life.

A small private service will be held at a later date.

The family will gather at the home of Brian and Heather on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 5pm to 8pm and warmly welcome anyone who would like to visit, share memories, and celebrate the life of Mrs. Linda.
