Linda Kaye Brown, 74, of Bennett, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Randolph Hospice House. The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Christian Church with Rev. Tim Strider and Jeff McNeill presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends before the service from 12:00-12:45 and other times at the home of Wesley and Bobbie Ritter.

Linda was born in Randolph County on December 23,1948 to Albert Stacy Brown and Ethel Mae Cox Brown. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church and retired from Dart Container. She loved her family and friends and her fur baby, “Barkley”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Catherine Binkley, Ruby Branson and Velma Welch and brothers, Glenn, Bill, Larry and Junior Brown.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Bobbie D. Ritter and husband, Wesley, of Ramseur and Darla Kay Freeman, of Sophia; sisters, Irene B. McNeill, of Ramseur and twin sister, Brenda B. Albright, of Siler City; brother, Ronnie Brown and wife, Patsy, of Bennett; grandchildren, Dustin Ritter, Daniel Ritter (Emily), Eric Freeman (Desiree Ritenour) and Dillon Hughes; great-grandchildren, Brody Ritter, Ava Ritter, Colston Freeman and Camden Freeman;  several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Randolph Hospice, 446 Vision Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203.
