Linda M. Condon – Rochester, Minnesota

Linda Marie (Vagt) Condon, 78, of Rochester, MN, died Saturday March 28, 2026, at her home surrounded by family.

Linda was born August 14, 1947, in Rochester, MN to Frederick and Ruby (Kirkham) Vagt. She graduated from John Marshall High School in 1966. On October 15, 1966, she married James A Condon at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Rochester. After living a short time in Brownsdale, MN, the couple relocated back to Rochester where they enjoyed the rest of their days. Linda had numerous part-time jobs over her career. Most notably her many years as a crossing guard at Longfellow Elementary School. She also spent several years working at Snyder Drugs at Crossroads.

Linda enjoyed many activities throughout her life; bowling, camping, scouting, traveling, among others. All of them were direct dedication to her family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her world.

She is survived by her sons, Tony (Margi), Mark (Tammy), Kevin (Jennie), all of Rochester, and Chad of Mankato, MN; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, parents, and her 2 brothers.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 11a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026, with prayer service at 12:45 p.m. in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens following the service.
