Burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery will follow at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 pm on Monday, June 9th at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Linda Diane (Lawrence) Davidson was born to Frank and Orpha (Pettus) Lawrence on March 4, 1947, and went to her Heavenly home on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Linda grew up on a farm west of Aline, Oklahoma, where she attended Aline Public Schools from the 4th grade until she graduated high school in 1965. Linda attended NWOSU in Alva for one year and then enrolled in the nursing school in St. Louis, Missouri where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1969. In the same year, she married the love of her life, Danny Davidson and the two were wed on August 2, 1969. Together, they had two children: Lance and Kammi. Linda and Danny made their homes in the Lahoma and Enid communities. She and Danny were married for 50 years until his death on Christmas day, 2019.
Linda greatly enjoyed helping and caring for others, and that was on full display as she faithfully carried out her duties as a registered nurse for 38 years, working at both Memorial Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital until her retirement in 2009. She worked many 12-hour shifts to help provide for her family. Linda loved spending time with her family and friends, and her bubbly personality and unique laugh will be sorely missed. She loved taking trips, working in the yard, and she really enjoyed celebrating the holidays, especially Christmas. Linda loved spoiling the family dog Charlie, but never was she more happy than when she was spending quality time with her two grandsons, Kendan and Kaleb. Linda accepted her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at a young age, and as a mother, she made sure her children stayed faithful by attending church services at the Community Bible Church in Lahoma, where she was a member.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Danny Davidson, her parents Frank and Orpha Lawrence, two brothers, John and Bill Lawrence, and sister-in-law Melinda Lawrence. She is survived by her son Lance Davidson and wife Kristy, of Enid, daughter Kammi Koehn, also of Enid, and her two beloved grandsons, Kaleb Koehn and wife Marisol, and their son Maverick, of Yukon, OK, and Kendan Koehn, of Enid. Two brothers, Terry Lawrence and wife Anna Faye, of Kingfisher, and Danny Lawrence and wife Joy, of Fairview, OK also survive her, as well as a sister-in-law, Dorothy Lawrence of Enid, and many other family members and friends.
