Taylor Funeral Service & Crematory - HotchkissLinda Lee Driscoll of Hotchkiss passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025. She was 84 years old.
Linda was born on September 16, 1941, in Paonia to Clarence and Barbara (Powell) Endsley. She spent her childhood growing up on Hanson Mesa in her family home that was built by her grandfather.
She married Larry Driscoll in April of 1958. Linda spent almost her entire life living in Hotchkiss, leaving for brief periods only a couple of times.
Linda enjoyed crafts of all types to include quilting, needle work, knitting, crocheting and sewing. She spent a good part of her young family life making clothing for her four boys. She crocheted Afghans for all her kids and grandkids which will be cherished forever. She especially enjoyed the Christmas season, decorating the household, making ornaments, baking goodies and various other crafting endeavors.
Family and friends were the center of her world. Her greatest joy came from simple gatherings, preparing meals, and laughter with those closest to her. She was always available to talk, offer a kind word, or assist in any way she could. There was never a holiday, special occasion/event, or difficult time that she didn’t send a card for.
Linda was especially close with children. She loved all children, becoming “grandma” to almost all kids she met. She worked for the Hotchkiss middle school, using her grandmotherly skills to endear herself to many young children in the Hotchkiss community.
She is survived by two of her sons; Joel (Teresa) Driscoll of Hotchkiss and Gary (Cheryl) Driscoll of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by both of her parents, Clarence and Barbara Endsley, her husband, Larry Driscoll, her brother William Endsley and two sons, Ricky Driscoll of Aurora, CO and Shawn Driscoll of Perryville, MD.
A funeral service will be held at Taylor Funeral Service in Hotchkiss on May 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
