Linda L. Dunnell

Linda Louise Dunnell, 78, of Wheeling, WV, died Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born August 17, 1946, daughter of the late Arthur and Kathryn McCarter Dunnell.
Linda retired after 34 years with the Ohio County Circuit Clerk's Office as chief deputy and office manager. She was also a licensed cosmetologist in WV, OH and PA. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Red Hat Club and the Courthouse Cuties. She loved puzzles, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life partner, Robert D'Cagna; brother, Robert Dunnell; sister-in-law, Mary Dunnell; grandson, Lucas McCracken; stepdaughter, Sharon Campbell; and step son-in-law, Paul Dietrich.
She is survived by her stepdaughters, Debra Dietrich, Barbara Jarrett (Hugh Whitehead), Sandra (Jody) Campbell, Tammy (Todd) Shank, Laura (John) Cook and Linn "Sissy" D'Cagna (Chris Beiswenger); stepson, Andrew D'Cagna (Dawn Ray); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and lifelong friend, Carol Bell.
Friends and family will be received Monday, April 14, 2025 from 1 PM until the time of memorial service at 4 PM with Pastor Sean Smith officiating at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242-2311).
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, will be held at the convenience of the family.
