Linda Faye Edwards

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Faye Edwards, of Knox County, on August 26, 2025, at the age of 61. Linda was born on February 19, 1964, and her life was a testament to love, strength, and kindness.

She was devoted to the love of her life, her husband Rudy Edwards, and was a wonderful mother to her daughters, Lindsely Manning and Brittney Allen, who were the joy of her life. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she devoted herself fully to their care, happiness, and well-being.

Linda also leaves to cherish her memory her beloved grandchildren: Eric Roberts, Krislyn Williams, Da'Niya Allen, Ronesha Manning, Demarcus Allen Jr., and D'Navi Allen. As well as four precious great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her endless joy and pride.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline Manning and Benjamin Manning, her sisters Almeda Tate and Brenda Manning, and her brother Lougene Manning.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sisters Arnetha Holloway, Sylvia Manning, Carolyn Manning, her brother Benjamin Manning Jr., and her sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Dennis Smith, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her deeply.

Linda will be remembered for her gentle spirit, bold personality, her warm heart and sense of humor and the way she made everyone around her feel cared for and valued. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will continue to live on through her family and all those blessed to have known her.
