Linda M. Foote, 71 of Columbus (formerly Helenville), passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Home Again Assisted Living of Columbus.

Linda was born on August 20, 1954, in Fort Atkinson, WI, the daughter of Duane and Kiwa (Kikuchi) Tessman. She graduated from Lakeside Lutheran High School in 1972, and married Glen Foote on April 7, 1973, at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Helenville. Linda and Glen had 3 daughters and enjoyed 20 years of marriage until Glen's death in 1993.

Linda was a wonderful and strong lady, who provided well for her family and sacrificed for their wellbeing. She was a known movie buff, enjoyed crocheting blankets, and trips to Ho-Chunk. In years past, she enjoyed fishing, worked on word puzzles, and played phone games often. Her faith was of utmost importance, and she took refuge in the strength she received from her Heavenly Father, his Word, and her church family. Time spent with her grandchildren was always cherished and Linda loved watching her family grow. She will be remembered for her faith, her dedication to her family, her generosity, and putting other people's needs above her own. Her family is thankful for Godly example, and they are taking comfort in knowing she now rests in Heaven.

She is survived by: her daughters Jessica (Fred) Hansen of Markesan, Tracy (Terry) Henning of Madison, and Beth (Tigh) Kemnitz of Neosho; 10 grandchildren Johnathan, Jackson, Jameson, Travis, Erin, Olivia, Chandler, Liberty, Ripley, and Malachi; great-granddaughters Brooklyn and Juliet; and siblings Jerry Tessman of Jefferson and Sally (Phil) Warren of Nekoosa. Linda is also survived by a number of other relatives and many friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter Kristin Eggert, and sister Kristina Quest.

A Christian funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Farmington, with Rev. Titus Buelow of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran presiding. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00AM until the time of service at the church. She will be laid to rest at St. Peter's Evergreen Cemetery following the funeral.
