Linda Gail Carver Long

Linda Gail Carver Long, 65, of Fitzgerald, GA passed away at her home on Saturday, September 7, 2024. She was born in Gainesville, FL on August 28, 1959, to the late John Heathcoat and Nancy Martin Cato. Linda was a member of Arbor Baptist Church in Fitzgerald and previously attended Fitzgerald Church of God. She loved fishing, going to yard sales and scrolling through Facebook.

She is survived by her loving husband: William “Randy” Long; children: William H. Carver, II (Stacy), Willie Carver (Shannon), and Louis Carver; grandkids: Jamie Cleveland, Abbigail Spangler, Tiffany Carver, Sebastian Martin, Brittany Wynn, and Ashley Hunt; great-grandkids: Izaak Carver, Jiraiya Spangler, Jessy Spangler, Elijah Cleveland, and Raiden Wynn; brothers: Floyd Miles and Ben Miles (Donna); sister: Virginia Johnson (Jeremiah); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home with Terry Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Buford Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Carver II, Willie Carver, Louis Carver, Jamie Cleveland, Ben Miles, and Blake Yarborough.
