Linda M. Godfroy peacefully passed away after a lengthy illness on December 23, 2023 at Saint Joseph Hospital with her children by her side. She was born in Van Buren, Maine on April 6, 1945 to Irma and George Findlen.
Linda graduated from Saint Agatha High school in 1963. She moved to Lowell, MA where she met and married Joseph A. Godfroy who pre-deceased her. Linda spent thirty years with the love of her life, Jeanne I. Bussiere, who pre-deceased her. They made their home and many memories in Nashua, NH.
Linda is survived by her brother, George Findlen and his wife Rose; daughter Brenda and her husband Frank Murphy; son Brian and his wife Paula; as well as her grand children, Nicholas and his wife Ashley Murphy, Matthew Murphy and his fiancé Melanie Desrosiers, Megan Murphy, Tyler Godfroy and Kate Godfroy.
As per Linda’s wishes, services will be private.
