Linda J. Goodwill

Linda J. Goodwill, 84, of Greenville formerly of Dougherty Ave in Sharon passed away on Sunday evening December 8, 2024 at St. Paul's Senior Living Community.
She was born July 8, 1940 in Pittsburgh a daughter of Elmer and Thelma (Shearer) Miller. Linda was a 1958 graduate of Meadville High School and moved to Sharon in 1960.
She worked at Greenwood Pharmacy and was a longtime member of Faith Presbyterian Church where she had played the piano for many years.
She especially enjoyed spending time with her husband and daughter.
Linda is survived by her beloved daughter Kimberly Grimm and her husband Bill of Hermitage; her brother Paul Miller of Hermitage; as well as close friends Bryan and Julie Bleakney and their children, Isabelle (John) Marks, Lily (Josh) Baum and Ava Bleakney and her companion Nathaniel Brocious whom she considered family and along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years Duane A. Goodwill on June 8, 2021 and a brother Charles Miller of Sagertown, PA.
A funeral service will begin at 2:00PM on Saturday December 14, 2024 at Sample-O'Donnell Funeral Home 555 East State Street in Sharon, Pennsylvania officiated by the Rev. Stephen Stelle. Friends may visit with her family beginning at Noon until the start of the services.
A private interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the excellent love and care provided by Dr. Aaron Listopad, the nurses and aids at St. Paul's Home, and to Gentiva Hospice for the compassion and care that was shown to Linda.
