Linda Marie Turner Guillory, 75, of Lake Charles passed away at 7:45 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 in her residence.
Mrs. Guillory was born on September 4, 1949 in Cottonport, LA where she was raised and graduated high school. She met her husband in high school and following graduation, she moved with him to Lake Charles to pursue his football scholarship at McNeese State University. Mrs. Guillory began her career with the Voter Registration of Louisiana and retired as chief deputy. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Eddie Guillory and Terri Gaspard (James); sister, Sandra "Sis" Tassin; grandchildren, Blaine Guillory (Mary), Tylor Fontenot (Sara), Maegan Arrant (Dustin), Turner Aubey, and Tatum Aubey; and great grandchildren, Waylon, Hayden, Terry Beaux, Lillie, Bubba, Reid, Easton, and Blayke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Guillory; parents, Edwin and Marjorie Turner; and siblings, C.B. Turner, Keith Turner, and Joel Turner.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven. Father Joshua Page will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until leaving for the church at 12:30 PM with a rosary being recited at 12:00 PM.
