WELLINGTON -Our devoted mother, grandmother, sister, friend and beloved "Grandma", Linda Ann Broadhead Hawkins, 78, passed away November 4, 2025 in Price, Utah.

She was born June 1, 1947 in Heber City, Utah to Boyd Elmo and Florence Pearl Jensen Broadhead. Linda married Douglas E. Nelson, Sr from Park City, Utah in 1963. They did their best to raise four kids with many ups and downs along the way. They divorced after 18 years of marriage. On March 17, 1995, Linda married the one and only Billy Joe "B.J." Hawkins and they shared many memorable times together before his passing on March 1, 2017; their marriage was later sealed in the Manti Temple.

Linda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a proud member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She took great pride in her faith, family, and friends. Linda loved children, especially caring for her biggest child, "Billy Joe". She also cherished her time driving the school bus for Head Start in Wellington. Grandma and Billy Joe touched the lives of many and their friendships will truly last a lifetime.

Linda enjoyed traveling, helping others, and shopping. She adored visiting with friends and going to town for her shopping sprees at Deseret Industries. Linda was truly a friend to all and she brought great joy to everyone lucky enough to have known her.

She is survived by her three daughters and one son, Donna (David) Walter, Vevay, IN., Karen (Shock) Wade, Grants, NM., Douglas (Nacole) Nelson, Jr., Mason, OH., Angie (Chris) Wiersma, Roosevelt, UT.; her sisters, Rosemary (Eldridge) Lee, Price, Glenna (Scott) Wall, Wallsburg, UT; brother, Jack (Kathy) Broadhead, Kamas, UT; sister-in-law, Carol Blackburn, Wellington; eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and a community of friends that affectionately called her Granny or Grandma Linda.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Billy Joe "B.J." Hawkins; and a son-in-law, Jonathan Kamm.

Funeral service, Saturday, November 8, 2025, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will be in the Wellington City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends and family are always welcome daily and may share memories of Linda online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
