Linda Haynes Obituary
Rochester, NY
Linda passed away quietly in her sleep on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the age of 82.
Linda was born in Nelson, Tioga County, PA to Dorothy and Ned B. Haynes.
Linda dedicated her life to teaching and music. She was a member of the Rochester Oratorio Society for many years, and as a 1st soprano she was a Diva.
Linda loved all animals especially her cat; Tinker Bell, Cheetos and Root Beer.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Ned and Dorothy Haynes; her stepmother, Elizabeth Haynes Callan (Ibbie); her brothers, Gary and Brian Haynes; and loving friend, Jim.
She is survived by her best friend and companion, Kathy; sister in law, Jeannette Haynes; nephew, Scot Haynes (Valerie) and many nephews and nieces.
Family would like to thank all of the nurses and staff of the Mission Unit at the Edna Tina Wilson Senior Center for their loving care and support.
Friends are invited to join the family at her memorial service on Saturday, November 12th at 11AM at the Mumford Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rochester Humane Society.
