Linda Heggelund Obituary
The daughter of the late Victor Heggelund and Edith Marie Fernlund, she was born September 2, 1947 in Brooklyn.
Our beautiful, funny and stern Aunt Linda was so loved by many and was another mother to those who had lost their own. She helped other people when they needed help and was a great care giver to her animals, her pets. She had the strength and the ability to get things done.
We know that she is in heaven with her parents, her brother Al, her sister Lorraine and her dear close friends, Joanne and Gail. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Interment of her ashes will be held at the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, 1011 Route 52 in Walden, NY on Friday, November 28th at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks everyone to love one another and visit those who love you because all you have left are memories, and although memories are good, nothing is better than having them present in your life. So please hug those closest to you and let them know you love them. God Bless Linda - she will be missed.
