Linda Kay Hercules, age 67, of Billings, Missouri, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025. She was born on December 7, 1957, to Raymond and Dolly (Box) Harper.
Linda graduated from Francis Howell High School in St. Charles County, Missouri, in 1976. On October 16, 1976, she married her high school sweetheart, Robert Hercules, and together they shared 49 wonderful years of marriage.
After high school, Linda began her career working at McDonnell Douglas Harpoon, where she held the highest level of security clearance. She later worked as a secretary for several construction companies before finding her true calling as a realtor, a profession she loved and was devoted to for over 15 years.
Linda’s faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She was raised with a strong Baptist foundation and most recently attended First Baptist Church of Nixa, Missouri, alongside her family.
Her greatest joy came from her family—her husband, children, and especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted daughter who lovingly cared for her parents in their later years. Linda had a kind and generous heart, always putting others first and showing love to everyone around her.
She enjoyed collecting red glass, tending to her garden, and her chickens. Linda also had a gentle soul for animals and shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Foxy.
Linda is survived by her husband, Robert Hercules; her son, Robert Todd (Charly) Hercules; her daughter, Stacy (Eric) Hercules-Stone; her brother, Jason (Kim) Harper; her cherished grandchildren, Micah and Roman Hercules; and her faithful dog, Foxy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Dolly Harper.
Linda will be deeply missed by family and friends alike. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, her faith, and the warmth she brought to everyone who knew her.
Visitation will be held from 5:00–7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Missouri. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, at First Baptist Church, Nixa, Missouri, under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa with Pastor Tim Haupt officiating.
