Linda Irene Rogers Hink, 77, of Wheeler, Texas, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Wheeler. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Cornerstone Church in Wheeler with Erron Mercer officiating. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00–6:00 PM on Monday at 1322 S. Mobeetie St. in Wheeler. Arrangements are under the care of Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler. Linda was born on October 16, 1947, in Perryton, Texas to Lewis Willis and Irene Lois Switzer Rogers. She married Robert "Bob" Hink on September 6, 1962, in Booker, Texas. A lifelong resident of Wheeler, Linda was the devoted wife of a farmer and rancher and worked various jobs around town to help support her family, including serving as a dispatcher/jailer and working with the Farm Service Agency. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and spending time with friends. She was also a member of several local sorority clubs. Linda was deeply devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and was a member of Cornerstone Church in Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Irene Rogers; her husband, Bob Hink; and two daughters, Janice Hink Kemp and Janette Hink Umsted. Survivors include her son, Jason Hink and wife Jennifer of Wheeler; her brother, Frank Rogers and wife Kathy of Round Rock; four grandchildren, Brennan Umsted and wife Megan of Canyon, Landry Umsted of Kelton, Kade Kemp of Wheeler, and Jocelyn Ryder and husband Camden of Pampa; one great-grandson, Kason Umsted; and one great-granddaughter on the way; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to any volunteer fire department in Wheeler County.
