Linda Howard Obituary
Linda was born July 1, 1949, in Olean, and was the daughter of Donald D. "Curley" and Dolores L. Zaph Foskit. On July 2, 1994, at the Christ United Methodist Church, she married Allen R. Howard, who predeceased her Jan. 26, 2011.
Linda was a 1967 graduate of Olean High School. She then graduated in 1967 from the Olean Business Institute.
Linda started working at Dresser Clark Brothers in June of 1968. retiring 46 years later in 2015.
Linda was formerly a member of Christ United Methodist Church and was a member of St. Bonaventure Church. She was a member of the Olean VFW Lady's Auxiliary, Dresser Clark and Rand Office Retirees Olean Senior Center.
Linda enjoyed traveling and especially cruises, sewing, watching TV and movies, spending time with her grandchildren, camping at Sunny Hill, music and would help her husband with his DJing "Call Me Al Music Roadshow."
Linda is survived by two stepsons, Christopher A. Howard and Jason A. Howard, both of Olean; two grandchildren, Cooper L. Howard and Alayna S. Howard; a sister, Diana L. Foskit of Allegany; a special nephew, Michael J. (Loriann) Foskit of Arizona; and many other nieces and nephews.
Along with her loving husband, Allen, Linda was predeceased by her parents.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., at which time a memorial service will be held. Deacon Matthew R. Wenke will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pink Pumpkin Project, 301 N. Union St., Suite 203, Olean NY 14760.

We are sorry to hear about Linda's passing. She was a happy friend with lots of cheer. She did love her family so much and talked about family when we visited. I also enjoyed her posts. Our sympathy and prayers are with her as well as the entire family.

We were so sorry to hear of Linda´s passing. We knew her at D-R, she was one of our special ladies in our D-R lady retirees group and an important part of the Dresser-Rand Retirees group. She will certainly be missed. God bless you all with peace, comfort and strength during this difficult time.
