Linda was born in Dillon, SC June 6, 1944, the daughter of the late Gurley Hyatt and Dorothy Garrett Hyatt. She was the widow of Frank Vangsness. She was retired as a Cosmetology Instructor for the Chris Logan School in Florence, SC. She was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church in Myrtle beach, SC.
Linda is survived by her nephews, William E. Hyatt, Jr. (Kim) of Latta, SC and Jason Hyatt (Amanda) of Hamer, SC; niece Ashley Hyatt (Brandon Weis) of Fresno, CA; step daughter, Melissa V. Phillips of Seal Beach, CA; and sister-in-law Angie Hyatt, off Fresno, CA. She was predeceased by her brothers, William "Bill" E. Hyatt and Tommy Hyatt.
