Linda Lou Johnson, age 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2025 in Six Lakes, Michigan under the care of her family and Corewell Health Hospice.
The daughter of Floyd and Vivian Bradley, Linda was born on July 27, 1940 in Pierson, Michigan. She worked at Wolverine Worldwide for a number of years before retiring.
On February 7, 1959, Linda married Judson Johnson and the two shared 66 years together. Linda and her family lived in Ensley Center, Michigan where she loved gardening and tending her chickens. Her flowers were her pride and joy. Linda always had a smile on her face and loved to cook for family and friends. She was famous for her pies. When asked what her motto for life was, she replied, “Live life to the fullest and make lots of memories.”
Linda is preceded in death by her parents; several brothers and sisters; a son, Judson; and two grandchildren, Michelle and Brian. She will be missed by her husband, Judson; two sons, Jeffrey (Linda) Johnson and Dennis Johnson (Kerri); a sister, Shirley Braun; four grandchildren, Kenneth (Kelsey) Johnson, Caleb (Abby) Johnson, Zachary Johnson, and Randi (Aaron) Johnson; and seven great-grandchildren, Rugar, Raven, Gideon, Jael, Esther, Samson, and Miriam.
A celebration of life will be announced this summer.
