Linda Ann Kirby Donaldson

Linda Ann Kirby Donaldson, age 86, of Braselton known to all as "Lyn" or to the very special ones as "Nene" passed away on October 26, 2025. She was born in Chamblee to the late Stephen and Mary Bob Kirby.
Lyn was full of life and fun. She loved Jim, her sons and grandchildren more than anything in this world. She believed her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the sunshine during the day and they hung the stars at night.
Lyn lost her zest for living when her soulmate, the children's father, best friend, business partner and traveling mate and a very special person passed away on January 10, 2017 at 10:10 p.m. (011020171010)
Lyn is survived by her most awesome sons ever and their wives, Jamie and Julie Donaldson, Turk and Wendy Donaldson, She is also survived by beautiful, well-mannered grandchildren, Kristi Lord, Stephen Pittard, Jeremy and Justin Donaldson and their spouses, Joseph Lord, Anna Pittard, Whitney and Devin Donaldson. Also, surviving are the only little people who truly loved their "Nene" Gabriel and the "Princess" Charlotte Lord, Rene and Tristan who are "great and grand!".
Lyn is survived by her sisters and their spouses: Jean Bowen (Rudy), Laura Barron ("LL"), Laine Wood and Lisa Hemphill (John); in-laws: Butch Hutchins (Gene), and Jerry Donaldson and a whole bunch of beloved nieces and nephews. This family took it seriously when GOD said "go forth and multiply" because we surely did (especially Jean & Rudy).
A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025 with Mark Thomas of Hagen Creek Community Church officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a non-profit organization of your choice in memory of Lyn Donaldson.
