Linda M. Klein (nee McAlonis), 78, of Parma Heights, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born May 28, 1947 in Cleveland, she grew up surrounded by the warmth of family and developed a lifelong appreciation for art, literature, and spirited conversation-a gift those close to her cherished deeply.

Linda was married to her beloved husband, Charles "Chuck" Klein, for 46 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with shared adventures, from her travels to Hawaii and their trips to Colorado, Wyoming, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and California, just to name a few. They enjoyed movie outings and attending model train shows and conventions.

Linda was a dedicated mother and friend to her daughters, Juliane Verdicchio and Denise Collins, a loving sister to Ron McAlonis and Sister-in-Law Carol McAlonis, Loving Aunt to Steve McAlonis, Tammy McCandless, Chuck Lavelle, and Alexis Sole, and a fun and loving Grandmother to 6 grandsons, Pedro Rampolla, Lorenzo Rampolla, Emilio Rampolla, Roberto Rampolla, Anthony Verdicchio and Michael Verdicchio. Linda was preceded in death by both her parents, William and Helen McAlonis and her beloved husband, Chuck.

Her professional career spanned more than 25 years with AIG Insurance, and just as long serving her community as a beloved Avon representative. Linda was known for her love of classic movies and books, and she was a devoted fan of sports-always cheering on the Browns, the Ohio State Buckeyes, Guardians, and Cavaliers.

Linda will be remembered for her colorful spirit, her enthusiasm for art, castles, and knights, and above all, her gift for conversation that made everyone feel seen and heard. We love her very much and she will be forever missed by many.

The funeral Mass will take place on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Bosco Church, 6480 Pearl Rd., Parma Hts., OH. Internment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends after Mass and internment in the church's Bell Tower Hall. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, or the charity of your choice.
