Publish in a newspaper

Linda Anderson Lockhart, 76, of Woodbridge, VA, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025, at home, surrounded by her family.
Born on November 4, 1949, in Covington, VA, Linda was the daughter of Robert L. Anderson and Elizabeth Clark Anderson.
Growing up in an Alleghany Highland mountainside community, Linda developed a foundation of traditional family values, and an everlasting love for its nature and wildlife.
In 1982, Linda moved to Fairfax, VA briefly before settling down with her family in Woodbridge, VA where she operated an in-home day care for over 10 years while raising her children.
In 1998, Linda began her career as a Special Needs Bus Attendant with Prince William County Public Schools. In this position, she formed life long friendships, and touched the lives of countless children entrusted to her care.
After retiring in 2021, she moved in with her daughter, Shayna Lockhart-Roggo, her husband Louis Roggo Jr., their children Mariah Lockhart, Aryana Roggo, and Jordan Roggo, and the late Louis Roggo Sr.
In her personal time, Linda enjoyed reading romance novels, collecting recipes, watching The Young and the Restless and Hallmark movies while spending time with her beloved Pomeranians.
Her appreciation of fresh flowers, butterflies, and home-grown garden tomatoes inspired the precious childhood stories she shared at the family dinner table.
Above all, she held dearest the love of her grandchildren, took pride in their journey into young adulthood, and cherished the precious time they shared in her final years.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Tara Stapleton; her parents, Robert L. Anderson and Elizabeth Clark Anderson Smith; and her brother, Robert Wayne "Moses" Anderson.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Shayna Lockhart-Roggo, and her husband, Louis; and by her grandchildren, Mariah, Aryana and Jordan. Along with her nephew Chris and her niece Kasey and their families in Covington.
Visitation and services will be held at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home in Dale City, VA, on December 1, 2025. Visitation will take place from 6–7 p.m., followed by a service from 7–8 p.m. A graveside service and burial will be held on December 2, 2025, at Alleghany Memorial Park in Covington, VA at 1:00 p.m.
