Linda Martin Obituary
She was the daughter of Earl and Florine Flanders Hornback and spent her early years in Sonora.
Known as "Joyce" to family and "Linda" to friends and colleagues, Dr. Martin devoted her life to education. After teaching at the collegiate level in Kansas, Louisiana and Dayton, Ohio, she settled in Tempe, Arizona. She served on the faculty of Arizona State University until her retirement.
Dr. Martin is survived by her cousins, Carolyn Flanders Drake of Sonora and Danny Flanders of Hodgenville.
Interment will be in Sonora Cemetery at a later date.
