Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Sue McClanahan-Choate will be held at 10 am on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Rev. John Hodge officiating. Burial will follow at Ramah Cemetery in Ashland, LA.  The family will receive friends from 5pm until 8 pm on Sunday, January 28th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.


Linda, 64 years of age and a resident of Saline, passed away on January 24, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born on April 12, 1959 to Louis C. Bedgood and Jewel M. Goodwin.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Brenda K. Jones; and sons, Anthony Choate and Thomas V. Choate.


She is survived by her husband, Ronald Choate; son, Jeffery Choate; siblings, Carol M. Choate, Shirley Bedgood, Ruby Hall, Dennis Bedgood, Judy McClelland, Carrie Massey, and Roger Bedgood; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.


She was dearly loved and will greatly be missed.


In following her wishes, a balloon release, in her honor, will be held at the committal service at Ramah Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to a charity of your choice.
