She loved God, camping, traveling, gardening, animals, and her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Schlagel, her father Hibert McCormick Sr., brother Gary Burdette, and brother Hibert McCormick Jr.
She is survived by ex-husband, Lanny Fowler; daughters, Amanda Fowler and Jessica Fowler (Lester Sherman); grandchildren, Trista Sherman, Damian Walker, Alexander Fowler, and Autumn Walker; brother, David McCormick (Delores); nieces, Erica Eigensee (Michael Dickman), Karin McCormick (Christian Brachner), Heather McCormick (Sascha), and Crystal Stevens (Heath); nephew, Curtis Eigensee (Lauren); honorary son, James Reinhardt; and best friend, Kimberley Morrison.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave. Columbus, OH 43207, where a Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. A second memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Inn at Heritage Farm, 3300 Harvey Road, Huntington, WV 25704 Interment will occur at Bexfield Cemetery in Ona, WV immediately afterward.
HEALTH SAFETY - Franklin County is currently COVID level GREEN. Masks are optional inside the funeral home, unless you are showing symptoms of a cold or the flu. Please use the provided hand sanitizer before picking up the pen to sign the guest book.
