Linda Bridwell Medlock

Linda Bridwell Medlock, 73, of Albany, passed away peacefully Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. She was surrounded by her devoted husband and children.
A lifelong resident of Albany, Linda was a member of Gillionville Baptist Church where she served many years in the nursery loving on generations of children. Linda loved to cook and host her large family at holidays. She was never happier than when she had a house full of family and friends and an oven full of casseroles.
Linda graduated from Doerun High School in 1968. She retired from Proctor and Gamble where she served as Safety Manager, earning many awards and accolades during her time there. After her retirement she earned an Associate's Degree as a paralegal and spent many years at her second career working for Doug Devine in his legal practice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Mildred Bridwell, brother Steve Bridwell and a sister Lori Jackson.
Survivors include her husband Bobby Medlock, son Scott Bridwell (Kristen), daughter, Jenny Miller (Brandon), grandchildren, Raines Miller, Lydia Miller, Trece Ford, Abby Ford, Harley Bridwell, siblings Connie Saunders (Charlie), Mark Bridwell (Tina), Lisa Phelps (Alan) and a host of nieces and nephews she loved dearly. She was "Ninny" to so many more because she loved people and loved them well.
A celebration of life will be held at Gillionville Baptist Church Saturday May 20, 2023. Visitation will be at 10 am followed by a service at 11 am and lunch immediately after.
