Linda Jean Miller, embarked on her final adventure on May 19, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on February 21, 1953, in Ironton, OH, Linda's zest for life was evident from the get-go. She passed away in Albion, MI, after a valiant battle with renal cancer, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and the kind of stories that could fill a book-or at least a very entertaining pamphlet.
Linda was the spirited daughter of Thurman Daniels and Jennie Marie Mattice, and she gained an extra helping of family love from her stepmother, Barbara Daniels. She grew up alongside her siblings, Roger, Donnie, Paul, and Joe, with her sister Marie always there to add a dash of sibling rivalry and camaraderie. Linda was often found orchestrating family camp trips that were less like formal gatherings and more like a comedy club with a buffet, fire and beach.
After graduating from Concord High School in Concord, MI, Linda didn't just walk into the workforce; she strutted in with confidence and sass. She spent 32 years at Tenneco (Walker) as a Setup Operator. Linda wasn't just good at her job; she was the kind of colleague who could make training kind, easy and thorough. Her tours of duty took her to various Tenneco locations in Michigan and Indiana, where she was well-liked.
In the epic love story that was her life, Linda's leading man was Audie Miller. They were married 38 years and together for 40 years. Together, they created a family with their children Crystal (Moore-Dunn) Arnold, David Moore, and Jessica (Miller-Ransbottom) Bowling who then expanded the cast with grandchildren Ian Dunn, Dylan Moore, Alyssa (Dunn) Blauwkamp, Melissa (Arnold) DeLeon, Emma Moore, Sara Dunn, Kaylina Ransbottom, Kennedy Moore, Alexis Ransbottom, Ricky Ransbottom III, Ryleigh Bowling, and Paige Bowling. And just for good measure, Linda was promoted to great-grandmother three times, with two more understudies on the way.
Linda's interests read like a bucket list that she was determined to complete. She loved camping, "glamping" the kind with TV and coffee machines. We're talking about the "buying firewood and movie night" variety. Road trips were her jam, and she could turn a simple drive to the store into a memorable excursion. Beach trips were her sunshine, and she had the tan lines to prove it. Linda's flower beds were her sanctuary, where she cultivated not just plants, but friendships and memories. Motorcycle rides with Audie were her wind-in-the-hair moments of freedom, and spoiling her grandchildren and pets was her Olympic sport.
To say Linda was adventurous would be an understatement. She was the kind of person who would look at a map, point to a place, and say, "Let's go there!" Her loving nature was as expansive as her smile, and her kindness was the currency she spent most freely. Linda had the unique ability to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary, and she did it with a laugh that could light up a room.
Linda's life was a masterclass in making the most of every moment. She was the person who would tell you to take that trip, eat that dessert, and for goodness' sake, stop and smell the roses-or the campfire, or the lakeshore, or the motorcycle exhaust. She lived fully, loved deeply, and laughed loudly.
As we bid farewell to Linda Jean Miller, let's not do so with heavy hearts. Instead, let's honor her by living as she did-with a spirit of adventure, a heart full of love, and a kindness that knows no bounds. Linda might have left the stage, but her encore will continue in the stories we share, the memories we cherish, and the laughter that echoes in our hearts. So here's to Linda-a one-of-a-kind soul who taught us all how to live a life worth remembering. Curtain down, applause up, and one final bow for the incomparable Linda Jean Miller.
A memorial and celebration of life will be taking place in Coldwater, MI where Linda and family were once seasonal campers.

Linda, always smiling, always positive. Loved to see my cousin visit Ironton, Ohio. Remember certain old songs that make me think of her like 1964 "Bread and Butter" 1968 "Yummy, Yummy, Yummy" 1969 "Chewy, Chewy" and 1970 "Indiana Wants Me" See you my friend on the other side. Fly high and RIP. Carolyn

Linda was a corker all right and would always chat whenever our paths crossed. What a nicely written memorial. I'm so happy for her that she had such a loving group around her and so much fun outside of work. Sorry for her families loss but it sounds like you will have a lot of laughter whenever you think of her. There is no better tribute than that.
