Linda Kay Milligan, 81, of Batesville, left this earth too soon on Monday, Feb. 23, 2026. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on Feb. 8, 1945, to Jim Snider and Ruth Dibeneditto.
LInda loved to sing and enjoyed making jewelry and crosses. She was a most creative person who wrote beautiful poetry. Several of her poems are available on Amazon. Many will remember Linda as being a dedicated and faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Southside.
She was a devoted wife of over forty-eight years to Troy Milligan, of the home; mother of sons, Churck (Kim) Shiar, of Clearwater, Florida, and William Troy Milligan, of Cave City; mother to her daughters, Kim (Brad) Woodward, of Batesville, Kerry Tucker, of Batesville, Lynette (Randy) Gann, of Cave City, and Glenda Waters, of Cave City; her grandchildren, Britney, Christian, Cheyanne, Cody, Paris, Lexi, Amber, Robert, Brittney, and Amanda; ten great grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dale Trotter, Jimmy Snider, Bob Snider; grandchildren, Christian Tucker; and Paris Tucker.
A Celebration of Linda's life will be Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service with Bro. Bob Daly officiating.
