Linda J Molloy, aged 78, peacefully passed away on July 12, 2024, after a long period of failing health, surrounded by her loving family. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a bit of mischief, leaving behind a legacy of joy and many cherished memories.

Born on September 4, 1945, Linda was the daughter of Thomas and Wilma Perrin. She grew up in Medfield with her two sisters, Beverly and Christine. They enjoyed spending their summers at Seacoast Shores in Falmouth and Sebago Lake in Maine.

Linda graduated from Medfield High School in 1963 and attended Chandler School for Women after high school. She met her husband, Bob, while working at Fayo's Diner in Medfield. The couple eloped on July 18, 1964, and lived in Norfolk, Norwood, before eventually making their home in Walpole, where they raised three children.

The family enjoyed many road trips in their M37 and pickup camper, visiting many national parks and museums. Eventually, they settled camping seasonally at Salmon Point on Long Lake in Bridgton, Maine. They spent many years hosting epic campfires and potluck dinners and enjoying time on Long Lake in "The Rum Runner." From there, they moved to Westward Shores in Ossipee, New Hampshire, eventually moving closer to home to Maple Park in Wareham, where her beloved "Grands" could visit frequently. Evening golf cart rides through the woods and cranberry bogs were the norm. When the camping season ended, it was time for snowmobile season. She and Bob put many hours and miles on their snowmobiles.

Linda was always the life of the party and enjoyed hosting family get-togethers. She was an excellent cook and passed her skills on to her children and grandchildren. She was an avid reader, scrabble player, and card player (Spite & Malice). Linda was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Norwood Fire Department.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Thomas E. Perrin and Wilma K. Perrin, and her sisters, Beverly Darling and Christine Waters.

Cherished wife of Ret. Norwood Fire Department Captain Robert F. Molloy of Walpole, MA.

She was the loving Mother of Sandra Pellegrine and her husband, James, of Walpole, Laurie Spadoni and her husband, Stephen, of North Attleboro, and Robert Molloy and his wife, Heather, of Foxboro.

Beloved grandmother of Nicole Pellegrine and her fiancé Mark Saraceno, Kevin Pellegrine and his fiancée Shelbie McCormack, Colleen Mackill, Kathleen Mackill, Iain Mackill, Stephanie Lyman and her husband Christian, and Christopher Molloy. Great Grandmother of Connor Lyman and Emmett Lyman.

She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to an organization near and dear to Linda's heart, Heroes in Transition, 22 Bates Rd, Suite 135, Mashpee, MA 02649. https://heroesintransition.org/donate/

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Delaney Funeral Home, 48 Common St, Walpole, MA 02081. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Vine Lake Cemetery, 625 Main St, Medfield, MA 02052.

Though Linda has moved on to her next grand adventure, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
