Linda B. Nielson-Schmidt, lovingly known as Yiayia, passed away peacefully at home at age 83. She earned degrees from Westminster College and the University of Utah, and spent over 40 years as a compassionate psychotherapist. Her greatest joy was being Yiayia to Ricci and Isabella Anderson. She also leaves behind her husband Len, children Sam and Sarah, and son-in-law Ric.

I had the pleasure roughly 30 years ago of doing Linda's nails. To this day I quote her many pearls of wisdom imparted to me. She had a great sense of style and was so beautiful inside and out. Heaven gained another valuable one! Prayers to the family at this difficult time.
