Linda J. Nordgren

Linda J. Nordgren, age 77, of Wallingford passed away on January 9, 2026. For 57 years, she was the devoted wife of Dan Nordgren. Linda was born in Meriden, CT, the daughter of the late Walter and June Story Kittredge.
Prior to her retirement, Linda was employed with United Snack. Her true passions were found in her kitchen. She was a wonderful baker, especially known for her delicious homemade donuts and her famous apple pie.
Linda had a deep love for animals and cared for her pets with devotion, especially her beloved dog, K.C.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her children, Daniel Nordgren of Wallingford and Wendy Nordgren of Meriden, her granddaughters Justine Nordgren and Tracey Dzubiak, and her siblings Lisa Burness and her husband Jay of Prospect and Walt Kittredge and his wife Sue of Meriden. Linda was also predeceased by her sister Rita Mae Varney and her brothers Harold and Ted Kittredge.
Linda's family will receive relatives and friends at the Wallingford Funeral Home 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford on Friday January 16th from 5:00 – 7:00pm. Interment will be private.
