May the Lord keep his unchanging hand on the Padgett family in their time of grief. When I first moved to Tampa from Tallahassee, I worked with Coach Padgett as she was known at Booker T. Washington at that time. She politely handed me a card inviting me to church at New Hope. Soon, I joined the church and was baptized by Pastor Jenkins. Sis. Padgett was the epitome of the Christian spirit. May the Lord welcome her into his heavenly host.
