She was born on June 24, 1954, in the beautiful island of Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia.
Linda's life was one of deep devotion - to her family, her faith, and those around her. She was a woman of quiet strength and enduring kindness, always ready with a smile, a comforting word, or a helping hand. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into nurturing and guiding them with wisdom and grace.
She cherished every moment spent with them, finding joy in their laughter and pride in their accomplishments.
In life, Linda shared a beautiful and unbreakable bond with her beloved husband. Their love was steadfast and true - a partnership built on faith and mutual devotion. In a profound testament to their connection, Linda followed her loving husband just days after his passing, departing this life on October 24, 2025, in Hilo, Hawaii.
Though her earthly journey has ended, Linda's spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to shine through her family.
Services will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 8, 2025) at Church of the Holy Cross, 440 W. Lanikaula Street, Hilo.
She was a loving and dedicated mother to her children: Bradley Phillip, Rodney Phillip, Jovianne Phillip, and Avonlean Phillip.
Her love extended to her grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable happiness: Wylon Phillip, Avasha Phillip, Linasha Phillip, Enea Phillip Luther, Kai Anson, Doneven Phillip, Ernest Luther Jr., Aikoa Phillip, and Riley Phillip.
