Linda L. (Pugh) Poehlein, 75, passed away on July 18, 2024. She was born on October 12, 1948, to Orville and Delores (Neu) Pugh in Evansville, Indiana.
Linda graduated from Evansville North High School which led to a successful career in management for many years at Circle K. Linda found joy in the simple pleasures of life; she had a deep love for flowers, often tending to her garden with care and enthusiasm. Fishing and spending time outdoors were among her favorite pastimes. Linda cherished her moments with friends, whether it was enjoying a meal out or watching a good movie. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family and her beloved dogs, Gizzy, Tootsie, Lily, and Ruby. They brought immense happiness and love into her life, and she treasured every moment with them.
Linda is survived by children Amy Phillips (Max), Charlene Williams, and Rodney Poehlein (Sondra); grandchildren Alec, Amber, Ashley, Travis; great-grandchildren Braydon, Callie Sue, Tanner, Maisyn, Braxton; nieces Angela Titus (Timothy) and Heather Ziliak, and numerous extended family.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Keith E. Poehlein, daughter Kelly Rickard, grandson Aaron Dayvolt, parents Orville and Delores Pugh, and siblings William Pugh, Shirley Ziliak.
Visitation will be from 10am until the time of service at 11am on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home with graveside interment to follow.
