Linda D. Raulinaitis, 69, of Rockland, formerly of Abington and East Bridgewater, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2024. Born on March 8, 1955, to the late Linwood and Janet Dunkum. Linda lived a joyful life defined by her selfless love and care for family and friends, passion for nursing, infectious smile and amazing outgoing personality.

Linda was the beloved wife of the late James P. Raulinaitis. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, James P. Raulinaitis, Jr. and his wife, Michelle, of Weymouth, and Jeremy D. Raulinaitis and his wife, Katrin, of Dallas. As the heart of her family, Linda was a constant source of support and love.

She was the beloved sister to Laura Dunkum, Loretta Dunkum and her wife Colleen, Lisa Nocera and her husband Michael, Linwood (Woody) Dunkum II and partner Karen, and Lucille (Lucy) Bousquet and her husband Robert. Being a grandmother was one of Linda's greatest joys. She deeply loved and cherished each of her grandchildren: Mason, James III, Landon, Bentley, Nolan, Sienna, and Claire. Her warmth and kindness also extended to her many nieces and nephews, each of whom she adored.

A proud alumna of Curry College, Linda earned her Master’s in Nursing and dedicated over 40 years to the field. Her career was marked by compassionate care for her patients at South Shore Hospital and Hebrew Rehab. She was equally dedicated to educating future generations of nurses, serving as an instructor at Massasoit Community College, Simmons College, and Quincy College.

Linda's faith was a pillar of her life. As a dedicated member of Old South Union Church, she found great pleasure singing in the choir. She was also an active member of the Rockland Senior Center, making smiles and laughter with friends. Linda enjoyed traveling with loved ones, spending summers at Ellis-Haven, and making memories with her beloved grandchildren.

Linda’s memory will be forever cherished by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her. Her unwavering dedication to caring and kindness touched countless lives and left a legacy of love and spirit we all will remember.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service for Linda on Monday at 11 AM in Old South Union Church, 25 Columbian St. Weymouth - Livestreamed: facebook.com/osuchurch. A private family burial will follow the church service. We wish for all to come and celebrate Linda following the services at 12:30 PM at the Rockland Golf Course 276 Plain St, Rockland, MA. In lieu of flowers Linda wanted all donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
