Linda E. Redhead

Linda E. (Noble) Redhead, 82, of Westford passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Lowell General Hospital. She was married to the late William Redhead, who died on April 10, 1996. Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ella Noble. She graduated from Lowell High School with the class of 1961. Linda retired from Northeast Software of N. Chelmsford in 2014. She was a member of Matthews Memorial Church in Chelmsford. Linda was a member of the Women Auxiliary of the American Legion A.W. Vinal Post 313 in N. Chelmsford and the Nabnasset Country Club. Known for her quick wit and sense of humor, she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was an artist, who enjoyed oil painting, sea glass and anything creative. She was an avid golfer and loved to travel. Thoughtful and caring, she never missed the chance to send a birthday card! She is survived by her daughters, Donna Gagnon and her companion, Tom McCarthy of Barnstead, NH and Lisa Gagnon of Westford; sister, Norma Cassidy of Westford; sisters-in-law, Pauline Noble of Westford and Sheila Noble of Humble, TX; grandchildren, Deanna Jones and her husband, AJ Jones of Moyock, NC and Kiana Gagnon and her companion, James Miner of Cabot, VT, great grandchildren Jaeliyah and Davien and her niece Gail Landers and her husband, Kevin Landers of Westford, MA and many more nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Elsie Larsen, H. Lee Noble, James Noble, Arthur Noble.

Funeral Service October 9, 2025 at 11:00am at Matthews Memorial Church, 128 Gorham Street, Chelmsford. Followed by a burial in the Edson Cemetery, Lowell.
