Linda Eileen Reece, age 78, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025. She was born on September 5, 1947, in Boise, Idaho.
Linda was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and dear friend to many. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Throughout her life, Linda was a devoted homemaker who found joy in painting and a deep appreciation for nature and flowers.
She is survived by her beloved husband, James Reece; her son, Ronald Ewing and his wife Wanda; grandchildren Johnathan Ewing and his wife, Audra and Robert Ewing and his wife, Sarah; and great-grandchildren Colton, Jaydin, Robert Jr., Sebastian, and Levi.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Lucille Kelsey Hunt; her father, Wayne Daughtrey Hunt, Sr.; and her brother, Wayne D. Hunt, Jr.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Linda's life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Care Cremation and Funeral Service, 1304 Bryan Avenue, Lexington, Kentucky.
Linda's love, laughter, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
