Linda M. Retel

Linda was a great friend and colleague who built the pacemaker clinic at the Minneapolis Heart Institute into one of the world´s premier patient care organizations. Thousands of patients benefited from her compassionate care, attention to detail, and dedication to medical device safety. While she loved seeing patients around the state, she also conducted groundbreaking research and presented many papers at national and international meetings. She was elected a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society, an honor usually reserved for physicians. I know of no one who will be missed more than Linda.
