Linda Louise Roberts

Linda Louise Roberts, born November 8, 1946 in Panther, West Virginia, passed away on November 4, 2025, at the home of her sister in Princeton, West Virginia, following complications from a stroke.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Veronica Helmandollar; her loving husband of 63 years, Leroy Roberts; her brother, Ronald Lockhart; her sisters, Julie Shelton and June Vance; and her parents, Robert Lockhart and Marlene Payne.
Linda leaves behind her son, Kevin Roberts of Iaeger, WV; her grandson, Brenton (Samantha) Helmandollar of Lerona, WV; her granddaughter, Dakota (Dennis) Lester of Knoxville, TN; and her cherished great-granddaughters Aubree, Brynlee, Addilyn, Camryn, and Jordyn. She is also survived by her devoted sister, Vicki Cline of Princeton, and her dear friends, Bonnie Salyers, Vesta Riffe, and Francis King all of Iaeger.
Linda was the heart of her family. Finding a more dedicated mother and grandmother would be impossible. Whether she was making biscuits and gravy or stirring up a quick batch of peanut butter fudge, you never left her home hungry-or unloved. Her family was her pride, her joy, and her life's purpose. She shared their accomplishments proudly with anyone who would listen and made sure each one knew just how deeply they were loved.
Linda carried deep grief in recent years, especially in the loss of her husband just three months ago. Yet, as a woman of steadfast faith, she held tightly to the promise of Heaven. We find comfort in knowing she has now been joyfully reunited with Leroy and Veronica. Though her absence leaves us with sadness, we celebrate the peace she has undoubtedly received.
Her legacy is one of love, devotion, hospitality, and unwavering faith.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 10, 2025 at 11 o'clock with Reverend Chris Rife and Reverend Russell King officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memory Gardens in Princeton WV. Pallbearers will be Brenton Helmandollar, Dennis Lester, Ron Lockhart, Tony Cline, Jeff Cline, and Charles Lawson, Jr.
Friends may visit with the family at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, Monday morning, November 10, 2025 from 10 o'clock until the time of service at 11 o'clock.
