Linda Robinson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Covington Funeral Home on Apr. 19, 2025.
Linda Gail "MawMaw" Robinson, 74, of Atoka, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025. Born on June 15, 1950, in Memphis, Linda lived a life filled with love for her family, her faith and the simple joys that brought her happiness.
A proud graduate of Kingsbury High School, Linda carried the values of hard work and devotion throughout her life. She was a devoted Baptist Christian whose faith remained a guiding light through every chapter of her journey.
Linda leaves her beloved husband, Ricky Robinson. Together they built a family that became the center of Linda's world. She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Lisa and Rhonda; her cherished grandchildren, Garrett, Tristen, Kaitlyn, Abby, Victoria and Dylan and her adored great grandchildren, Paxton, Kinley, Stefan, Kayce, Carson and Gracie. Her legacy lives on in each of them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Richard Sanders and her brothers, Darrell and Michael Sanders.
Linda had a vibrant spirit and heart full of wonder. She found joy in reading books that transported her to new worlds and watching movies of all kinds - each one an opportunity to laugh or reflect. Her love for technology kept her engaged with the world around her as she enjoyed spending time on her computers.
One of Linda's greatest passions was Disney. From the magic of Disney World - her favorite place on earth - to the excitement of every new Disney movie release (and the comfort of rewatching old favorites), she embraced the enchantment wholeheartedly. Trips to Disney World with her family were treasured memories that brought immense joy to her life.
She also enjoyed visiting casinos for a bit of fun and adventure - at testament to her playful nature and zest for life.
Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love leave behind a legacy that will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she held dear.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her and may the joy she shared live on through generations.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Linda Gail Robinson, please visit our floral store.
