Linda Faye (Sanders) Mitchell finished her journey on earth and joined her loved ones in heaven on November 8th. Her passing followed a brief illness.
Linda was born June 16th 1945 in Paris Kentucky to the late Clarence Marcum and Eleanor Fay Stanfield. She was also proceeded in death by son James Sanders, daughter Deborah Young sisters, Phyllis Nickelson, Louise Nickelson, Bonnie Powell, Peggy King, Husbands Russell Sanders and Evert Mitchell.
She is survived by Twin sister Brenda Hill of Kentucky, Her son Joseph (Phyllis) Sanders of Bucyrus Grandchildren, Eddie Young, Jeremiah Young, Amanda Young, Jeremy Young, Justin Sanders all of Kentucky. Lisa Hurley of North Carolina, Amy (Schon) Johnston of Galion, April Woodard of Bucyrus and Angela Miller of Bucyrus. 15 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and Numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Mitchell known affectionately to many as "Granny" was a housewife who loved the simple things in life. She could usually be found coloring, making art, listening to music, watching TV, fishing with her son and spending time with her family. She loved birthday gatherings, Christmas, cookouts, and would be the first in the car for a shopping trip to Walmart.
At Granny's request there will be no formal services. The family will gather at a later date to celebrate her life. The family recommends any memorials be made to the Alzheimer's foundation in Linda's memory. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
