My Gma Lindy was the most involved person I've ever known, she loved everyone, cared deeply and knew of every major and minor event happening within her family and community. She would always be the first to congratulate you, check on you, and fill you in on her adventures. I'll forever be grateful for the amount of time I got to spend as her sidekick during the summers on trips to see my Aunt, Uncle, cousins, and extended family, and of course to the Anthracite Mueseum where she introduced me to Coal Camp!
My love of history and her love of teaching made for a perfect way to share experience after experience with her, from the Steamtown Historic Site to the Iron Furnaces, movies, zoos, and magic shows. It was always an amazing time to be with my Gma Lindy. I loved getting to visit with my dad and hear of his childhood and stories he had forgotten. I am extremely proud to be her grandson, I will miss everything about her, but will remember our adventures forever.
