Linda Jo (LaBelle) Scorza died peacefully in her sleep the morning of January 27th.
Linda was born on June 12, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Joseph LaBelle and Marijane "Jane" (Couch) LaBelle. She was raised in Prairie Village, Kansas, where she graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School. After attending Kansas State University for a year, she worked at St. Mary's Hospital before joining her family's business Electronics Supply Co. and spent her career in bookkeeping and accounting until she retired in 1999.
On November 28, 1969, she married Terence "Terry" Scorza, and they welcomed their son David and their daughter Jenny. During this time, the family moved to Merriam, Kansas, where she lived for the remainder of her life. Linda devoted herself to her family. She loved cooking, baking, and keeping up her home. She also cherished her grandchildren and helped care for each of them during their infancy and beyond.
Linda is survived by her children and their spouses, David and Katherine (Miller) Scorza, and Chris and Jenny (Scorza) Borden, and her grandchildren Elliott and Laurel Scorza. She also is survived by her brothers and sisters: Richard, Carolyn, Gary, Barbara, Diane, Janet, and Joanne, and their spouses and children. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Terry.
