Linda Shelby Obituary
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Shelby Hicks; brothers, Frank Hurst and Billy Hurst; sisters, Marie Hurst Skelton and Janie Hurst Kaiser.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harvey L. Shelby; grandchildren, Savannah and Seth Shelby; sisters, Shirley (Mack) Gafford and Deborah Hewitt; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Linda was born June 27, 1948, in Hale County, Alabama, to the late L.B. Hurst and Anna Augusta Hahn Hurst. She was a member of Beulah Freewill Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida. She retired as a supervisor with Emerald Coast Utilities Authority.
