Linda Faye Shepherd, age 74, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 6, 1951, she was the beloved daughter of Gail and Doris Wyrick, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother, Larry Wyrick, and joins in Heaven her cherished husband, Robert C. Shepherd.
Linda was deeply loved and treasured by her children, Alycia Jacks, Lora Torres, and Rob Shepherd, who adored her as their mother. To them-and to all who knew her-Linda was a source of kindness, laughter, and unwavering faith.
Linda loved the Lord and lived her life with a joyful spirit and an open heart. She was known for her quick wit, her warm humor, and her ability to turn any moment into one filled with laughter and love. She was a wonderful cook who enjoyed sharing meals and stories around the table.
Her friends and family will remember her as a sweet, spirited woman who loved deeply, gave generously, and never hesitated to share a genuine smile.
As we celebrate her life and the love she gave so freely, we find comfort in knowing she has gained new life in Heaven.
"For to me, to live is Christ and to die is Gain." - Philippians 1:21
Linda's legacy of love, laughter, and faith will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Friends will be received on Friday, November 14 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Service, 514 Highway 42, Osage Beach, MO.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes, 514 Highway 42, Osage Beach, MO 65065 (573) 348-3232. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.hedgesscottmillard.com.
