Linda Shorts Obituary
Linda D. Shorts, 67, of Lathrop Street, died Sunday, May 25, 2025, in Wampum, PA. She was born in New Castle, on February 18, 1958, the daughter of the late Ronald and Margaret (Jaskola) Bessell. Linda worked in housekeeping at Golden Hill Nursing Home and Quality Life Services in New Castle for 20 years. She loved helping others, and above all loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Joshua D. Shorts and his wife Jennifer of New Castle, and Justin J. Shorts and his fiancé Bethany Lockerbie of Wampum, PA, four grandchildren, and two sisters, Kathy Minteer and Debbie Jones.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her baby girl Shorts.
There are no visitation scheduled at this time. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
