Linda Showacre Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services - Parkville on Mar. 27, 2026.
On March 25, 2026, Linda L. Showacre of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was the devoted and loving wife of Paul Reese Showacre, with whom she shared 46 wonderful years of marriage.

Beloved mother of Raymond and Andrew and daughter in-laws Michelle and Clarissa.

Linda was a proud and cherished "Mom-Mom" to Genevieve, Logan, Constantine, Brayden, Valentino, Hunter, Jayce, and Amy. She was also a beloved sister to Bobby Welck and Bonnie Bishop, and is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She found great joy in life's simple pleasures. Linda was an enthusiastic member of her bowling league, the "Saturday Night Fun Bunch," and rarely missed an evening cheering on her favorite teams, the Orioles and Ravens. She loved relaxing with Hallmark movies, enjoying her favorite Natural Light, and sharing laughter while cracking crabs-a true Maryland tradition she held close to her heart.

Linda will be remembered for her warmth, her sense of fun, and her deep love for family. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories that will live on in all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Linda's life at the family-owned Evans Life Celebration Home - 8800 Harford Road, Parkville MD 21234, for a visitation on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
